What to do for a summer birthday on a budget

by Piper
(Trusville, Alabama, USA )

My sixteenth birthday is in June, I don't know what kind of party I should have or even if I should have a party.

'm on an extremely tight budget, but if it's absolutely necessary I could have a party at home.

I go to a gifted school and because of the nature of the school everyone lives kinda far away, not too far to come, but far enough that the turn out may be limited.

I don't have a pool, so a pool party is out of the picture.

I like dressing up, but a formal event seems a little too much to ask, I just want something fun, but I'm not sure what I can do on a budget.

Do you have any ideas what a fun loving girl with a summer birthday can do on a budget?

P.s., my mom offered to take me and some girl friends out of town for the weekend or even host a large slumber party.

But I have only one very close friend that's a girl.

Most of my closest friends are guys.

You could have a spa night, or an afternoon tea.

June is the perfect time to do something outside since all of the trees and flowers are blooming, so I would suggest tea in a garden or a picnic at a park!

It could be super inexpensive as long as you're willing to search for good deals.

Blacklight

Sometimes parties at home are the best! An idea: replace light bulbs with black bulbs, an you can have a back light bday! Then you can invite both girls and guys, and invite a lot of people!
