Unusual cake designs are great inspirations to take a look through when planning on baking or buying a cake.
You don’t have to be a professional baker to make a great sweet 16 birthday cake; you just need a little bit of inspiration!
Check out these cake designs I have found online. All look AMAZING, cool and some even weird! Weird is great in this sense. These are cakes baked by ordinary people for special parties.
Fairy Castle- This cake is really neat if you are a “girly girl” who loves the idea of magic, fairy tales and “dream come true’s”. This cake is a really cute pink castle, a great design!
Tye Dye Cake- This cake is absolutely beautiful. The designs of this cake are incredible! This three tier cake is extremely colorful, with little butterflies scattered around on it. A very pretty cake that I would recommend looking into!
Purse Cake- This is a very cute blue and brown, polka dot lulu purse cake. This would be great for any sort of fashion or glam sweet 16 party theme.
Pink and White Castle- This is a very elegant and a very detailed castle birthday cake. This cake looks like a lot of work was put into it, it’s beautiful!
Wrapped Gift- Well I personally think that a wrapped gift cake is definitely one of the most unusual cake designs out there. It’s unique, cute and clever!
Princess Stars Cake- I discovered this cake on a great website that I have always loved. This cake says happy 2nd birthday but it can really be for any age, it’s so pretty. The cake is based on a princess and stars theme.
3 Tier Cool Design Cake- This cake is absolutely gorgeous! The cake is pink and brown with tons of detailed designs. Definitely worth looking at!
Sweet 16 Polka Dot Cake- This tier two cake is really cute. The bottom tier of the cake is decorated with pink and orange stripes and flowers. The top tier is designed with various sized polka dots.
Colourful Polka Dot Cake- This cake is so cute that I would bake it myself. This is a very colourful tier two polka dot sweet 16 birthday cake.
4 Tier Unusual Design Cake- This is probably the coolest looking of all unusual cake designs that I’ve ever seen. This cake is humongous, four tier, and each tier has it’s very own different design on it. The cake is topped with large number 16 candles.
Topsy Turvy Cake- Looking for very unusual cake designs? This one’s it. It has a very unique, cool and “whimsical” feel to it. This is probably one of the coolest sweet 16 birthday cakes I’ve seen yet.
Zebra Print and Polka Dot Cake- This two tier cake has a zebra print bottom, and a polka dot top! A high heel shoe is placed on the top for a fashion feel. Icing designed as pearls are placed like necklaces around each tier of the cake.
Spa Party Cake- This cake is from that same cool site I talked about above! When I saw this cake I had to laugh, it’s so cute! The cake is shaped like a woman getting a facial, with cucumbers covering her eyes. I love it. Another top favorite in unusual cake designs.
Sweet 16 birthday cakes are really a world full of unlimited creative possibilities.
