sweet sixteen traditions

So I'm turning 16 in a month.

I already booked the place and stuff, like i basically have everything (well i hope i do!)

But the thing is, i don't know what things are traditionally done at sweet sixteen birthday parties.

I'm having about 30 people at a hotel party room.

I don't really want to do the candle ceremony because I am basically just inviting my friends and no family members.

So if there are another traditions and stuff please let me know!!!
