Stuck with my Sweet Sixteen

Hey! I am turning 16 in late August and I am completely stuck.

I am an "artsy" girl. I love theater, singing, dancing, performing, all that jazz.

Anyway, my mom doesn't want me to have it at our house. Sooo I am stuck.

I could have a small party (like 6-15 people) Large (like about 35ish or more) or even in between.

Problem is that I have friends from my new school, old school, theater, dance etc. So it's hard to have a medium sized party.

I don't have the biggest budget in the world (No rocket ships or anything) but I am pretty flexible.

I don't really like the whole "lets invite the 100 people and have a dance party" thing because my friend had one. lets just say there was 20 people there and the dj was bad...

I live in California.
Beaches and stuff.

So yahh....
