stuck on a theme!

hey there. i'm only 14 about to be 15 next month. my mom wants to get a head start on my sweet sixteen and im stuck on a theme for my party.

anything that i can have within a low budget. i had a question about a venue. would it be better to have it at home or should i rent a small ballroom? my mom didn't get one because her parents didn't have much money so we both don't really know what to do.

i've heard you should go with a theme that fits your personality. is that true? if it is then picking my theme is going to be really hard. help me if you can! thanks.
