Problems with Pink and Princesses

Okay, so it's almost my Sweet 16, and I want to have a fun party I will always remember. But when I look up party ideas, favors, invitations, etc., almost all of the ones I find are pink and say "Princess" on them.


Okay, being realstic not all of them say "Princess", but a lot of them do, and it seems to me that the whole sweet 16 thing is about the color pink and being a princess.


I don't necessarily hate pink, and my daddy says I'm his princess, but I don't want to have a party that's all pink and all about me being a princess.


On the other hand, it looks like I don't really have a choice. Help please?
