Paintball Party

I'll be turning 16 December 26th, so planning a party near my birthday has always been hard.

This year my mom and I found an unusual idea for a girls sweet 16, a paintball party.

We had it all planned out and I had my list of friends done, until we thought about transportation.

The paintball place is 2 hours away, and my parents don't want to pay $700 for a bus rental, so now that ideas out the door.

I don't want to do a normal run of the mill sweet 16 either. I don't want to rent a hall and have a dance party, because that's not fun to me for my party.

And a lot of my friends are just having bonfires, but I'm really not wanting to do that..its my last resort.

I'm very athletic, so the paintball just made so much sense and seemed like so much fun. I want to do something fun and exciting and impress everyone like i would've with the paintball party.

For the paintball party I was planning on only inviting 25 people, just girls, because it would double the number if guys were invited.

I was wondering if you could come up with some creative and unique ideas for my sweet 16...I'd really appreciate it!

thanks!
Rachel

If you cant go there, why not stick to a paint ball theme party? You can throw an awesome party without paying hundreds to rent a bus. Here are a few ideas:

You can find cheapie paint ball guns at Wal-Mart if you have a large enough back yard why not bring the girls out for your own game!

If they don?t have the right gear to wear to shoot each other you can always paint dart shots on wooden boards to shoot at like a shooting range.

You can even do this in a smaller yard if your parents allow you too. Line up cans and have the girls shoot them. You don?t have to buy a paint ball gun for every girl, just buy a few cheapies for everyone to use.

Incorporate other activities that are cool and fun to play.

I asked a friend who is a paint ball ?pro? about shooting paint-balls at a large canvas for decoration. She said it would look awesome but the paint balls don?t have the right dye to stain to a canvas.

So you can always fill small balloons with paint and throw them to splatter on large canvases (great for decorations.)

It would be really cute to get all of the girls to dress in camo. Have your girls wear at least one article of camo clothing. It is a pretty common style, so this shouldn?t be too hard to do. You could even throw a Camo Camp Out Party!

Have your friends bring their sleeping bags and set up some tents either in your back yard if the weather permits. Here in Canada it would be pretty impossible to do this at the end of December!

If a bon fire is a last resort type thing for you, why not really spice it up. You could shoot home made darts with paintball guns before the sun goes down, blast your favorite music, set up the tents and stick to the camo clothing theme.

Have a bon fire but make it better then your friends parties! Make it an all after noon, all nighter filled with paintball related activities, a fire, good snacks and a sleep out with tents.

What you can also do is throw a party with a paintball like theme, and ask the girls before hand if they would be interested in pitching for a bus rental.

Say that the pitch is your birthday present from them to you. Or just invite a few girls out, enough that ill fit in your parents? vehicle.

You could also throw a backyard bash and sell tickets to get into the party, each ticket going toward transportation.

Good luck!
