Our Super Sweet 16

My best friend and I are starting to plan our sweet 16 for this summer, and we want to make sure we have enough money for an awesome party.

Our birthdays are the same day and we've been best friends since we were 5 years old.

We like a lot of the same things, such as fancy gowns and dresses and all that princess stuff.

So we were thinking of having people dress semi formal for the party and possibly renting a party room at embassy suites.

However, we like to have lots of fun and we want our party to be well remembered so were also looking at renting a pavilion at a local park or Valentinos for a few hours.

My friend suggested we also rent an awesome bounce house, but i suggested we get tons of water balloons to cut the expense.

We would tell people to bring or wear bathing suits or clothes they wouldn't mind getting wet for a water balloon fight at the end of the party.

we were also thinking about getting a dj, some awesome lights (maybe black lights?), and of course food and pop/water.

Rhe only problem with our plan is that we aren't quit sure how much money we can spend or how much we have, but we want the party to be super fun and awesome.

Are any suggestions, advice or comments to help us out?

We'd really appreciate it and it would really help us make the best of our party.
