October Sweet 16 ideas!?

Okay so I'm turning 16 in October and I want to have an amazing party that people will remember but it cant be crazy expensive.


My friend and I were planning on sharing a party and getting a dance hall but then we opted out. So now I'm probably having it at my house and possibly getting a DJ.


My house has a huge gazebo 18X20 and I have a deck that leads off of it. So its a pretty big area but I kind of wanted it to be formal but its kind of hard when you're having it outside.


I have my basement but its not big enough for 40 people. I have a HUGE yard too. I need ideas on what I should do for my party, and themes and everything.


If you know anyway I could make it formal I would LOVE to know! The price limit is around 900 dollars.


Which is a lot, but considering if I get a DJ it could get low fast, and I don't want to spend all of it or I get no present.


Any ideas are welcomed, and I'm planning on having it at the end of september since its still kind of warm in CT at the time.


But I could always make it later if you guys have a way of making it work. And if you know any way for me to stand out in the crowd that would be great.


I want to be remembered at my sweet 16.
