My Super Sweet Sixteen Sixteen Fashion and Glam ActivitiesMy super sweet sixteen fashion and glam activities are serious fun. Each activity is unique in a cool way and all relate to makeup, clothing or fashion design. The Mirror free MakeoverYou will need: * Teams of two * Makeup Each team consists of two girls. The girls must do their own makeup, but NOT each others. The girls must apply their own make up without the use of a mirror. They may guide each other by verbal instructions. Give each team 5 to 10 minutes to apply their makeup. The team with the best my super sweet sixteen makeover wins.
Create a New FadYou will need: * Teams of two or three players * Clothes & Accessories * Scissors/ needle and thread/ glue gun Break the party guests up into small teams of two or three girls. Instruct the teams to create a cool new fad. Tell the girls that there are no limitations with the use of their supplies. Give each team a bunch of cheap accessories, old clothes that aren't typically ideal for a sixteen year old girl, scissors, needle and thread and a glue gun. The teams have 30 minutes to conduct their cool new fad, and design their own name brand logo. The cool part is, these girls will actually want to strut their new styles around school. We played this activity at my super sweet sixteen party. A friend of mine came up with the idea because we watched the movie Mean Girls one day and found it hilarious how Regina turned pranks into the hottest new styles. It's really cool to see what the teams come up with. Have each team vote on the best fad (make sure that they cannot vote for their own team). The team with the best fad gets to instruct the rest of the teams to wear their fashion any time they want for a week. Have the guests put "My Super Sweet Sixteen" in the inseam tag of their new outfit so that they will always remember your sweet 16 party ideas. Fashion TreasureYou will need: * Clothes and Accessories * Timer Have the girls each bring a few articles of clothing and accessories to the party. Place all of the items on a table or in a pile and start the 30 second timer! The top two sixteen year old girls with the best outfits will then do a “walk-off” to fight for their right to best dressed! My super sweet sixteen had passion for fashion, so why can't yours!
Model Relay RaceYou will need: * Garbage bags * Old clothes, makeup * Start and finishing line A sweet 16 party ideas model relay race is a fashionable activity where the girls actually race to the finish line while going through several fashion challenges. Divide the girls up into two teams. Set bags or suitcases in the field where the race is being held. Have one bag filled with jewellery and old clothing. The first player must race against the first player on the other team to put of the clothes and jewellery in the fastest time and race to the finish line. Once the first player makes it to the finish line the second player must race to the second bag before the other teams’ second player. The second bag consists of makeup. The second team players must race to give themselves a wild makeover. The makeup must be done well enough to pass. Have someone stand at the makeup station to give permission for the players to move forward.The third players must cat walk race to the finish line. They may not run, but they may only reach the finish line if their cat walk is fierce. If it is not, they must start over until the walk is acceptable. The fourth players must do a photo shoot! This is a quick process. Just have someone with a camera take pictures. The object to this challenge is for the girls to make hilarious poses while making their way to the finish line. You don’t really even need a camera. It would just be fun to see the poses that the girls have made after the relay race. Blindfolded Makeup ArtistsYou will need: * 1 blindfold (a scarf works fine) * Makeup * Camera (optional) * A group of girls! This game is hilarious! Gather your guests together and blindfold the birthday girl. The birthday girl must then apply makeup blindfolded to the first girl she finds. When that girl has been made over, she must then find a girl to apply makeup to. The birthday girl must take off her blind fold and put it on the girl she just made over. The girls who have been made over must then clear from the area so that they do not get re- done! When every girl at the party has been made over, get the girls together for a group shot!
