I cannot tell you exactly how much a Masquerade Ball Party would cost you, it all really depends on your budget.

A cool funding tip: Many Masquerades actually sell tickets to enter the ball. You can sell tickets and tell your guests that the ticket cost will be their present to you from them.

This should fund you quite well; possibly even cover the cost of renting a hall for the ball!

* A few places I would recommend would be in large halls such as:

* Banquet/ Wedding Hall that rents out a large room

* A gym/ Sports Club

* Many hotels rent out large rooms for special occasions

* You could even have a ball outside. Just decorate elegantly!

Masks

Every guest will need a mask, so depending on how many guests you have, you may want to supply everyone with one.

You could also have everyone make a mask before they come to the ball, which would be free for you, or you can cut out mask shapes and have everyone decorate them before entering the actual ball room.

You can look around online for the masks also. You should be able to find great discounts, especially if you buy in bulk.

You could also look for these at your local party supply store.

Food

Food doesn?t have to be expensive. Just make up a list for the grocery store with a budget in mind. Have your parents help you out here.

If you make your own food for the ball, it shouldn?t be too expensive. You could also purchase catering from restaurants or bistros to deliver you fruit platters, finger foods and delicious desserts.

You will need:

* Tables and chairs

* Lighting around the dance floor( white Christmas lights work well!)

* Lots of colourful decorations (balloons, centerpieces, lights and confetti)

Make sure that everyone attending your party knows that this is a formal affair, so dresses and tuxes are mandatory. Keep in mind that the right dress for you might be a little pricey!

So basically, the cost is completely up to you and your budget. You will want to consider the hall fee, food costs, your dress and the decorations.
