Madri Gras Themed Sweet 16

I am giving my daughter a Mardi Gras themed Sweet 16 in September.

Instead of lighting the candles for the candle ceremony on the cake and end up with wax all over the cake, I wanted to make something for her to light her candles on that is separate from the cake but still in the Madri Gras theme.

Any ideas or suggestions?
