Looking for Sweet 16 Themes

I still have a little while before my Sweet 16 but I really need to start saving money now!


I'm trying to get ideas but I've never really had a "Big Party" like this one would be!


I'll tell you a little about myself so maybe you could give me good party themes and ideas!


I play softball and have for awhile now. I love it and I have many friends from playing on different teams.


I was raised in the south, so I have a "Country Girl" side but mainly I'm all about "Aeropostale, Hollister, A.E" clothing and making sure I look okay!


I definitely want somewhere where the "V.I.P Guests" would meet up with me and we would take a limo to the party.


My two favorite colors are pink and purple! If you have any ideas please let me know!

Have a black light party! you and the VIPs could come dressed in all white sporting outrageous hair and glowing lipstick and fingernails! plus i've done this party before it doesn't cost you much you should try it some time!

I thought hard about your question, and have come up with two different ideas. I hope they help you in some kind of way!


Miscellaneous Fun


You can always throw a party that consists of a bunch of miscellaneous activities, instead of an actual theme.


Instead of finding 1 party theme to bring in all of your passions, you can always incorporate softball, preppy clothes,your country girl at heart outlook, and the colors pink and purple together.



So what I figure is that you can decorate with your your color theme of pink and purple, and incorporate a little bit of outdoorsy fun into the party (like playing softball or going on a nature related activity).


For this I would suggest having a casual dress code (but of course make yourself look and feel great) and just go with it! You can always even give out gift cards for the stores that you listed as party favors fro the guests.


Semi- Formal VIP


If you want to have a limo and a VIP area, then I would suggest having a semi formal party.


Have your VIP guests dress to impress and you can always have a red carpet ready for your arrival.


Another idea is to have an all star sports party, with the theme as the guests are sport stars. You can have trivia on different sports throughout the night, and at the same time incorporate a lot of dancing and fun into the evening. You can once again use a pink and purple color scheme.
