Well the story is that I want my 16th, but where I live if people are having a 16th a house party is the way to go.

My parents said that maybe having something like a marquee in our garden with music and have sumo wrestling suits to keep people entertained.

But now the problem is the weather it is -10 some nights and no way could we have any outdoor activities, people would freeze!

And on the other hand, I am not too pushed about having a house party in my house because there is no fun if everyone has to be careful of what they are doing and if parents would be coming in complaining about noise levels.

So I am blank for idea's and I have tried asking about renting a place but I knew from the start that would be a no which it is.

Please help its near the end of the this month!

I love love LOVE the gift wrap dress up idea!

It reminds me of an ABC party. This is an anything but clothes party.

Basically everyone dresses up in an outfit they designed themselves and it can be out of practically anything!

I saw the idea on this site, but my friend also had a party like this a few months ago.

PS

I saw those sumo wrestler costumes at walmart during the Halloween costume selling time, my friend tried one on ... HILARIOUS!! love it.

A good 16th doesn't matter what your doing, the only thing that matters is who your with.

Try some games like..

Fashion 101:

get wrapping paper and split everyone into separate groups.

Then give them tape, scissors and a limited time period. The point is to dress up someone in an outfit out of wrapping paper. The best outfit wins!

Karaoke is another good game to play with the girls. Get some old songs like "oops i did it again" or "RESPECT".

Those are always good songs to go all out on.

As for the noise level, try explaining to your parents that this is your 16th and you really want it to be the best.

They'll probably understand, so long as the cops don't come for the noise issue. :)
