To begin, pass out large index cards. Each player must write their first name on a card and can decorate it in any manor.
Arrange enough chairs for every player in a circle, facing outward. Tape a name tag to every chair. The chair belongs to the person whose name tag is on it for the game.
Place dollar store cones, or cone like objects around the chairs anywhere else in the room.
The players must sit in their chair, then remove their shoes and place them on floor in front of his/her chair.
Choose a start person, and this person must take someone's shoe and place it at any cone. Go around to each person in turns.
You don't have to wait for each player to return to their chair. Keep the game going until all of the shoes are at a cone or marker.
Choose a caller. at GO, the caller yells out Right Shoe or Left Shoe. Players have to find that shoe go back to their chair and put the shoe on.
The caller can call "opposite shoe" at random intervals.
If players don't have a shoe completely on, they have to take it off and place it back at any cone and find the present shoe called.
if the shoe is on, then the player can tie the shoe and wait for the other shoe to be called.
If a player has on a shoe that is called, the player must go back to the chair and wait for the opposite shoe to be called before retrieving it.
If a player sits in the wrong chair, the player has to remove the shoes and start all over.
Have treats for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winner.
