Hows to keep it cool

Ok so I turn 16 in a few weeks and want to have an awesome party. At my school it seems like all people care about at parties is drinking.

I don't want to have that at my party. How can i make sure my party is fun and cool without poeople getting bored and wanting to leave to drink or smoke elsewhere?
