elegant party help

Okay, so I am planning my sweet 16 and so I want it to be the best party I have ever thrown.

And I want it to be a party that people will remember for a while. I am thinking about getting a DJ, cause I want dancing of course. But I don't know what kind of theme.

Because I want everyone to wear black or white dresses, because I am going to wear like a bright gorgeous dress like pink or something so I want to make sure mine stands out.

But I also like the whole idea of the masquerade idea and everyone wearing masks too. But I don't know where I should have it that would be cheap and spacious but elegant?

And what could I do at the party that would make it like over the top and amazing? What decorations should I have? I just need idea, because I want to invite a ton of people and a just have a HUGE birthday bash!

What kind of thank you gifts would be good? I basically need help with having a cheap, elegant, and unforgettable sweet sixteen!
