Centerpieces

So my sweet 16 party theme is So You Think You Can Dance and for my centerpieces i wanted to make a cut out of some of the dancers from the show like little statues with thick card board for a 3D image.

Unfortunately that didnt work out the way i wanted it because the cardboard was too thick to cut and the razor craft stuff we bought wasnt breaking through the cardboard.

I tried just pasting the picture of the dancer on a square piece but it looks awful and you can totally tell that it was poorly handmade and i didn't want it like that.

Do you have any ideas?
