A sweet 16 candle ceremony is a very important shindig!

This is generally done before the birthday cake comes out at the party.

It's a good idea to prepare who you would like to dedicate each candle to before hand.

Many people spend a little time on a small speech about each person she chooses to light a candle for.

There should be 16 candles ready for this ceremony. You can place them in a circle, in a line or any design.

Some girls like to choose a unique looking candle for every person she dedicates to.

Candles that remind you of that certain individual is also a cool and unique twist to the tradition.

tiara ceremonies are nice...

I liek the tiara ceremony idea.

My friend had one at her sweet 16, and it was really sweet.

There were candles lit all around the room and her dad walked in with a tiara on a small pillow.

He put it over her head and it was really cute. Everyone clapped and stuff.
