Since your coming from Alaska, why not make it simple, but really fun for a guy. I know if I were him I would think it pretty cool to rent about 5 or so snow mobiles for the guys to take turns on and just goof off on (safely of course).
Also you could set up a little rest area with a fire pit to relax with speakers playing some of his favorite music variations. hope this helps :)

you could put lots of posters up around the place and have music on in the background. (of the bands you mentioned).
