Black Light Party :)

Hi! I'm planning my Sweet 16 and I've been trying to find some themes. I finally came across one that I want, and it was a Black Light Pary Theme which I got from here.

I was wondering if you've ever heard of a glow in the dark cake? I know some people use tonic water, but won't it make the cake taste weird?

Or will it make the icing thin? Or should I be asking a cake person this? Also, would it be rude to ask people to wear white on the invitations? Will it be too pushy? How can I go about that?
