Big Sweet 16 Trouble!

Okay, so the title says it all!

I promised my friends the biggest sweet 16 birthday bash ever!

I told them I would get a limo and we would have my party at Carmen's but when I heard about the price, it was out of the question!

My sweet sixteen is not until next year, but if I want it to be as amazing as I pictured it in my head I have to start planning now!

My only problem is I have never been to nor planned a party as big as I want mine to be.

I have no idea what party clubs, etc to look at that are within a reasonable price range, where to find a DJ, how to create a theme, and just what decorations to put up?

Also, how do I supply so much food?

I am thinking of inviting quite a few people and my guessing range is at about 500 people, since I want to keep it kind of small, but still pretty big.

I promised my friends something without thinking and now I need more help than ever!

There's only two things I know how to get for sure and those are a limo and music.

Please please please help me with the rest!

Also I was kinda thinking I wanted a custom made cake from Carlos bakery in the US.

Do you know how much a cake like that would cost and if you think he could come to Canada to deliver it?
